A pelt in his ears

This is what you feel when you put on the record player to roll the new album the band carioca "Students". Titled as "Portuguese stones in your head", the disc comes with 15 songs which are true stones.
The opening is very quick and straightforward with the "welcome", which clearly shows what to expect along the other songs. Even being very aggressive and fast songs, this time the guys recorded a song with a very punk rock and carried over two minutes long, called "dry spirit" with chorus that stays in the head long after you hear it .
With this exception, and tell a great exception, the other tracks show what they Students are teachers, rapidity. Highlight a single song on this record is to be unfair to the other. The album is great from start to finish.
And the result you hear on your turntable is the result of work done in three days. The "stones" was recorded between days 8, 9 and 10 June this year, the studio Superfuzz, in Rio de Janeiro. On recording, spectacular. All instruments are audible, the riffs are strong and Manfrini are clear, and the bass is heard Donny in "dialogue" with the spectacular battery Diogo. The vocal Vitão, even with all the aggressiveness, of course, is heavy and easy for the listener who likes to keep up with the hard liner notes in hand.
Speaking of artwork, I must highlight the entire disc artwork that was designed by vocalist Vitão. The cover comes with the traditional yellow and red, typical of banda, with one of the artist's drawings. The back cover also has a devil that makes it clear that the album has 15 songs and only 300 copies. Inside the album, with lyrics booklet also shows a demonic child in the head with a rock, this child that reminded me of the cover of Born Again by Black Sabbath. Is in doubt for gift-giving at Christmas, or give the flat of his nephew? Easy, buy this disc d'Students. Who knows it might be a nice guy?
